ROUTE VIS-01

Visitor Visas — Business, Study, Academic, Marriage

Short stays for business meetings, a course, academic work, or to marry in the UK and return home. Visitor refusals almost always turn on two things: your intention to leave, and your finances.

Refusals here are rarely about the paperwork

Visitor applications are refused on two things far more often than any other: whether the caseworker believes you intend to leave, and whether your finances support the trip you have described. Both are judgements about credibility, which is why a technically complete application can still fail.

What actually gets checked

Whose money is in the account, and how long it has been there. Whether your stated purpose is permitted on a visit — business visitors may attend meetings and negotiate, but may not work or be paid by a UK source, and the line between those is where most business travellers slip. What ties you to home: employment, property, dependants, study. And any previous refusal, anywhere, which will be on file and will be read again.

Marriage Visitor

A separate route, for marrying or forming a civil partnership in the UK and then leaving. It is not a route to staying — if you intend to remain with your partner afterwards, that is a different application, and applying as a visitor first can make the later one harder.

What we do

We confirm the right visitor route for what you actually plan to do, build the financial and tie evidence properly, and write the cover letter that sets out your itinerary and intention.

What we check before you apply

  • That the activity you plan is actually permitted as a visitor
  • Financial evidence, and whose money it is
  • Ties to your home country and intention to return
  • Any previous refusal, and how it will be read this time

What full support includes

  • A written opinion on which visitor route fits
  • Evidence checklist covering finances and ties
  • Cover letter setting out your itinerary and intention
  • Submission, tracking, and support if documents are queried

Not sure which route fits?

That's exactly what a consultation is for. We'll assess your circumstances and tell you plainly which route — if any — is open to you.
